The National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP) hosted its 2019 Housing Policy & Hispanic Lending Conference on April 8-10. Members of CAR Industry Partner NAHREP Chicago and NAHREP North (Chicago) were well-represented at the event.
Townhalls at the conference gave attendees the opportunity to learn about important housing policy changes, the future of lending, credit access, the rising role of Latinos in Washington and NAHREP’s policy recommendations for policymakers. In addition to the townhalls, the local NAHREP chapters met with Representative Jesus “Chuy” Garcia (IL-04) and Representative Bill Foster (IL- 11).
At the event, NAHREP also unveiled and distributed its 2018 State of Hispanic Homeownership Report.
