As a Chicago REALTOR®, you also belong to the Illinois REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORS®, extending your resources and representation at the state and national levels.

Membership FAQs
There are two requirements for individuals or offices looking to join as a member of the Chicago Association of REALTORS®:
- You must be a duly licensed real estate broker, managing broker, leasing agent or appraiser with the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR).
- (If you are not a self-sponsored managing broker) Your sponsoring broker/designated managing broker must have established a REALTOR® Office with us.
REALTOR® membership is the comprehensive professional infrastructure of the Chicago Association of REALTORS®: advocacy, education, business tools, community, dispute resolution, professional standards and the power of the REALTOR® brand.
It is not merely a data subscription — it is a career-long professional investment. REALTOR® membership also includes membership in the Illinois REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR).
Our fiscal year runs October 1st – September 30th, and membership dues amounts are prorated on a monthly basis. Select the type of membership you’re interested in below, and the prorated dues amount will be reflected in the application.
