Last week, Chicago REALTORS® met with Congressman Brad Schneider of the 10th District of Illinois, to discuss issues critical to real estate and the economy. Chicago Association of REALTORS® Past President Matt Silver is the Federal Political Coordinator assigned to Congressman Schneider; they discussed tax reform, the middle class, flood insurance and the importance of protecting the mortgage interest deduction, state and local tax deduction, and the 1031 like-kind exchange.
