Member Outreach
 Held two to three times a year, members gather together at this important event to hear the latest on the State of the Association from the current C.A.R. President. Important legal and industry updates and information from the local, state, and national levels are also covered. This event, which is held two to three times a year, is open to the public, includes a continental breakfast, and typically draws approximately 200 to 250 attendees. Sales Awards
 The Chicago Association of REALTORS® (C.A.R.) Sales Awards recognizes the Who’s Who of real estate professionals in Chicago. This year our Top Producers of 2008 will be recognized at a celebration unlike any other. Held at the trendy Sofitel Hotel, this event will provide real estate professionals the opportunity to mix and mingle with top-selling real estate professionals in a relaxed networking reception setting. 2009 Sales Awards

Good Neighbor Awards
 The Good Neighbor Awards were created to encourage rehabilitation and redevelopment in Chicago’s north side neighborhoods and to showcase ground-breaking rehabs and development in the Chicago metropolitan area. The award has also been given for salvaging historical properties, rescuing architecturally significant buildings from the wrecking ball, and tackling stigmatized properties. The Good Neighbor Awards recognize properties that offer unique amenities and bonus facilities, often strengthening community pride. Developers that take special care to “fit in” with the neighborhood also qualify for Good Neighbor Awards. This highly anticipated event draws approximately 250 attendees. Inaugural Gala
 The Chicago Association of REALTORS® Inaugural Gala is the Association’s annual installation and awards ceremony for its incoming leadership and preeminent leaders in the Chicago real estate industry. Hall of Fame inductees and the C.A.R. REALTOR® of the Year are recognized during the program as well as the event sponsors. Since it’s inception in 1883, the Inaugural Gala has been the Chicago area real estate industry’s premier event. The event is typically held in late September and draws approximately 800 to 900 attendees.

Economic Forecast
 The Chicago Association of REALTORS® Economic Forecast provides an opportunity for the general membership to hear economic predictions and their anticipated effects on the real estate industry. The event is open to the public, consists of a panel of expert economists and mortgage providers, and includes sponsorship opportunities and tabletop exhibits. The Economic Forecast is held in December or January, and typically draws 200 to 250 attendees. Click here for more information from the 2010 Forecast including Presentations.
Golf Outing
 The first Annual C.A.R. Golf Classic was held in 1907. This historic event sells out very quickly and typically hosts more than 200 golfers and attendees. Members and sponsors are encouraged to sign up early. Net proceeds from raffle ticket sales, auctions, etc. benefit a designated charity. Golf packages include all meals and beverages for the day.
