Our mission is to create a community of Chicagoland commercial real estate professionals for the purpose of increasing the likelihood of their success. For members/subscribers to CommercialForum, this mission translates into a wide variety of networking opportunities, commercial information exchange services, educational courses and recognition events throughout the year.
The Chicago International Real Estate Council (CIREC) fosters and provides a platform for international real estate business opportunities. The council was formed to provide a forum for educational opportunities for those REALTORS® who have an interest in working with foreign nationals, either in the United States or abroad. In addition, the International Council aims at providing members with educational and networking opportunities with appropriate trade professional organizations.
Chicago's housing issues are not limited to the selling and purchasing of homes. Chicago has a vibrant rental market and the issues of property management are wide ranging, from working with the City of Chicago's Residential Landlord Tenant Ordinance (RLTO) to Section 8. C.A.R. has an active property management committee which looks at these issues and others not only to effect public policy, but also to educate our members.
