The Illinois Managing Broker Management CE Course is intended to satisfy the part of the continuing education requirements for Illinois managing broker licensees.
This course introduces the real estate professional's impact on the events leading to the housing market collapse and economic problems of recent years. We take a look at the manager’s ongoing responsibility to promote appropriate steps to affordable property ownership. We focus on the manager's most critical duties to supervise, train and set policy.
This course includes a review of required topics from the state outline including: Policy issues for brokers; policy manual creation; employment agreements; supervision of personal assistants/teams; agency issues; brokerage relationship policies; disclosure; fair housing and antitrust policy; RESPA compliance; listing procedures; buyer qualification; purchase agreements; advertising guidelines (including use of Internet, websites, phone campaigns, mail campaigns and social media), handling complaints and disputes; record retention and destruction, risk reduction; agent safety and training programs. This course includes a required 100-question final exam.
This course is required for Managing Brokers who obtained their Managing Broker License prior to February 1, 2013.
Note:If you obtained your Managing Brokers License after February 1, 2013 the 45-Hour Managing Broker Pre-License course shall satisfy the 12-Hour Broker Management CE requirement for your first renewal cycle as a Managing Broker.
