Chicago Association of REALTORS® to Induct G. Joseph Cosenza, Goldie B. Wolfe Miller into Chicago REALTOR® Hall of Fame

The Chicago Association of REALTORS® will induct two new members into the Chicago Association of REALTORS® Hall of Fame. Real estate legends G. Joseph Cosenza and Goldie B. Wolfe Miller will be honored for their achievements at the association’s 128th Inaugural Gala, to be held on Wednesday, Oct. 5, at the Grand Ballroom of Navy Pier.

“The Hall of Fame recognizes professionals who make the world a better place to live, work and play through the use of real estate,” said Sheldon Good, Founding Chairman of the Hall of Fame for the C.A.R. Education Foundation. “We look at honorees’ success, reputation and involvement in our communities as it relates to their ability to motivate young people to pursue real estate careers. These two individuals are exceptionally well positioned to inspire.”

G. Joseph Cosenza, Vice Chairman and a Director of The Inland Real Estate Group, Inc. and President of Inland Real Estate Acquisitions, Inc., is one of four original principals of The Inland Real Estate Group. Mr. Cosenza has held his real estate broker’s license since 1968, the first year he became an affiliate of Inland. As President of Inland Real Estate Acquisitions, Inc., he currently supervises an extensive staff engaged in property acquisitions and due diligence. Also a consultant to other real estate entities and lending institutions, Mr. Cosenza has directly overseen the purchases of more than $31 billion of income-producing real estate.

Goldie B. Wolfe Miller, President of Millbrook Corporate Real Estate Services, is a nationally celebrated top commercial real estate broker. Her 30-year legacy includes approximately $3 billion in transactions, making her one of the industry’s most sought-after professionals, as respected for her strategic philanthropy as for her business acumen. Ms. Miller has negotiated the sale or lease of many of Chicago’s leading properties, as well as a number of major national transactions. In 2007 she launched The Goldie B. Wolfe Miller Women Leaders in Real Estate Initiative at Chicago’s Roosevelt University, and takes exceptional pride in serving as an officer and director of several family foundations.

“We are proud to recognize these two leaders in real estate who have distinguished themselves around Chicagoland. Ms. Miller and Mr. Cosenza are the epitomes of professionals who excel at their work and their ability to mentor the next generation,” said Mabel Guzman, REALTOR® with ENVISION Real Estate and President of the Chicago Association of REALTORS®.

The C.A.R. 128th Inaugural Gala will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 5, at the Grand Ballroom of Navy Pier. Tickets are $125 or $1,200 per table.
