2018 Managing Broker of the Year (51+ Licensees): TJ Rubin

September 12th was the premier night for real estate in Chicago, as the Chicago Association of REALTORS® proudly presented its 135th Annual Inaugural Gala. Complemented by dancing, live music, and lots of laughs, the event included the installation of the Chicago Association of REALTORS® 2018-2019 Board of Directors, and honored several individuals for their contributions and positive influence, including the recipient of the Managing Broker of the Year Award (51+ Licensees). The Managing Broker of the Year Award recognizes a REALTOR® in good standing with at least five years of experience as a Managing Broker, with current active involvement at the local level, recognized business accomplishments and high principles of faithfulness to the principles of good real estate practices and the Code of Ethics among other brokers and the public.

MANAGING BROKER OF THE YEAR (51+ LICENSEES): THOMAS “T.J.” RUBIN

T.J. embodies the entrepreneurial spirit of Chicago. The former litigation attorney spends most of his time coaching and mentoring the top producing real estate brokers within his “homegrown” real estate firm, Fulton Grace Realty, which spawned from one of the worst economic recessions of our time. Under his leadership, Fulton Grace has exploded into one of Chicago’s most well-respected and fastest-growing residential real estate firms, with three offices throughout the city housing over 200 real estate professionals. Fulton Grace’s consistent and exponential growth has landed it on the coveted Inc. 5,000 list for the past three consecutive years – 2015, 2016 and 2017. The brokerage was also named one of Crain’s 2018 Top 100 Places to Work in Chicago – ranking #37 overall and as the #8 workplace for women. He has not only helped build a booming real estate practice, but he has also helped create an unparalleled, energetic work environment.
